No Parking Notice - 100 Roads Project

Road Project Logo

As part Mayor Sullivan’s ongoing “100 Roads” Project, select streets are scheduled to be micro surfaced beginning this week. This is the second and final phase of the roadway treatments.

The work is scheduled to begin on Thursday June 14th and will take two or three weekdays to complete. Construction hours are approximately 8 AM to 4 PM. The surface will be applied in two layers on two separate days. Each layer needs at least an hour and a half to cure. You WILL NOT be able to drive on this product while it is curing. Emergencies will be accommodated.

This process is extremely weather sensitive. If for any reason the weather does not cooperate work may be pushed back a day or two. Please do not park on the street until after the second course has been put down.

Any vehicle parked on the street during construction hours will be towed at the owner’s expense. Please relay this to others that may be driving to or from your house to avoid problems. If you are planning on leaving and/or returning to your house during construction hours we suggest parking on an adjacent street that is not in the binder course.

There are 15 streets included in this project. When you do see the contractor working on your street they are working on another street in Braintree.

Again, we ask for your patience and understanding.
