The Town of Braintree implements new Electronic Billing Solution for Tax and Utility Bills

New online bill payment service offers multiple ways to pay.

BRAINTREE, MA – 6/27/17 – The Town of Braintree announces the availability of an enhanced online payment service for tax and utility bills. Electronic billing allows the city to offer email or web-based billing services as a choice rather than traditional paper bills to their citizens. Bills are available for viewing or payment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and residents will now be able to pay multiple invoices at one time. With the improved bill pay service, customers can receive and view bills electronically and make payments online with a credit/debit card or bank account. Additionally, customers will able to securely store payment information for future use and still be able to enjoy the convenience of scheduling automatic payments.

The Town of Braintree is working with a third-party vendor headquartered in Braintree, Invoice Cloud, to provide residents with the new, user friendly electronic billing service. New features include:

·         Email notifications when your bill is ready, just before the due date and when a scheduled payment is pending.

·         Pay by phone 2/47: (855) 295-9950.

·         Register online to receive notifications by text message and/or pay by text.

·         Make a one-time payment or register to gain access to all features

·         Schedule your payment for a specific date or enroll in AutoPay.
