Planning & Community Development - River/Fisheries Restoration

The Town has been working with MA Division of Marine Fisheries, Fore River Watershed Association and Messina Enterprises to restore river herring passage to spawning habitat at Great Pond Reservoir.  A feasibility study on removal of the Armstrong Dam was completed in 2016 and posted below. A Public Meeting - Update on progress t was held on Monday November 7, 2016 t the Metropolitan Yacht Club (39 Vinedale Rd. Braintree).
