Braintree Public Schools
The mission of the Braintree Schools, in partnership with parents and the community, is to prepare students to become responsible and contributing members of a diverse and global society.
The Braintree Department of Elder Affairs is the link between the needs of our seniors and the services they need. We are the designated department that evaluates, promotes and encourages new and existing activities and services for the senior residents of our community.
Human Resources is responsible for all aspects of personnel and employee relations, including the filling of vacancies, maintenance of personnel files and records, Workers' Compensation, Unemployment, Benefits, Labor Relations, Contract Administration, Collective Bargaining, Employee Assistance Programs and Leave Administration.
The Municipal Finance Department is made up of Accounting, Assessing, the Office of the Director, Purchasing and Treasurer / Collector.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for the performance of all public works functions of the town.
Established in 1936 the Braintree Contributory Retirement System (BCRS) currently has over 700 active members, and in excess of 500 retirees.

The Town Clerk is responsible for recording the vital events that occur in the Town of Braintree. Vital events include births, deaths, and marriages. Marriage licenses and certified copies of vital records are issued by the Town Clerk’s office.
