Parking Ticket Appeal Process

  1. A ticket appeal can be in writing by mailing to or delivering in-person at the Treasurer-Collector’s office at Braintree Town Hall. Also, you may submit an appeal online by completing our Parking Ticket Appeal Form. We request the appeal be put in writing and include at least the following information: name, address, ticket number, date, time, make/model of your car, license plate number, the reason for the ticket and reason for appeal. We will review and research the facts and respond back accordingly.
  2. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may request a formal hearing by calling the Treasurer-Collector’s office at the above-listed number. You will be assigned a date/time to appear, at which time you must present any new information not provided in the original written appeal. The Treasurer-Collector’s office will render a decision in writing within 30 days.
  3. If you do not agree with the decision of the parking clerk, you may file a formal complaint with the Superior Court.
