BRAINTREE WELCOMES BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S HOSPITAL
Braintree, MA – The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Group has announced that they will be purchasing the property at 60 Columbian Street in Braintree which most recently served as the Massachusetts State Lottery operations, for an undisclosed purchase price.
“We’re pleased to have found a space that can accommodate the 350 employees of our existing physician practices to consolidate the many services that they offer under one roof, for the benefit of our patients who live in the area,” said William Johnston, MPA, senior vice president of ambulatory services at Brigham Health. “We’re also hopeful that this move will allow us the opportunity to expand a range of medical and surgical specialty services and adult primary care in the Braintree community. Mayor Sullivan and his administrative team have been very helpful as we commence activity on the building with an anticipated opening in the spring of 2021.”
“We are excited to work with the Brigham Health organization in bringing additional quality health care services to Braintree and the South Shore,” said Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan. “With the Lottery moving, this location will continue to provide economic activity for our area”.
