The first meeting of the Master Plan Steering Committee was held on May 27, 2021. Among the items on the agenda for discussion was the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Master Planning Services, including the development and implementation of a Community Character and Vision Plan and preparing a Comprehensive Master Plan. Following the Committee’s review and comments, the RFP was made publicly available on June 16, 2021. A copy of the RFP can be found here.
Approximately fifty firms from all over the country downloaded the RFP; however, the Town did not receive any proposals by the deadline of July 16, 2021. The Committee will continue its work to support the Master Plan process, including establishing a mission statement, at its next meeting. In the interim, the Town will re-evaluate the RFP and gather feedback from firms that downloaded the RFP, but did not submit a proposal to complete the work.
