TO THE OWNERS OF THE LAND DESCRIBED ON THE LISTING AND TO ALL OTHERS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that on Fri., Dec 19, 2025 at 10:00 o'clock A.M. local time in the Collector’s Office, Town Hall, 1 John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive, Braintree , MA 02184 pursuant to the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 60 §53 the parcel (s) of  land described on the attached listing will BE TAKEN FOR THE Town of Braintree for non-payment of taxes due thereon, with the interest and all incidental expenses and cost to the date of the taking, unless the same shall have been paid before that date.

Responsibilities

The Town Treasurer is responsible for the deposit, investment, and disbursement of Braintree’s municipal funds. The Treasurer works with Braintree’s financial advisor and manages banking services and the issuance of debt. The Treasurer also works with the public on a regular basis and has other responsibilities which include:

  • Payroll Processing
  • Cash Disbursements
  • Cash Receipts
  • Tailings (Uncashed Checks)
  • Tax Titles

Other Treasurer Office Functions

Effective for the 2024 calendar year the Town of Braintree is no longer mailing Forms 1095C to eligible employees. Forms 1095C will be provided to Town employees upon written request. Written requests for Forms 1095C can be submitted to the Town Payroll Coordinator Huong L. Pham via email at hlpham@braintreema.gov. Requests must include a mailing address for response and all requested Forms 1095C will be furnished within 30 days of the date the request is received. As a reminder, Forms 1095C provide information about the type of health insurance offered to applicable employees. Forms 1095C are information statements only and are not required to be submitted with an employees' federal individual income tax return filing.
