Planning Board
The Planning Staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to meet with anyone interested in discussing a potential project, the permitting process and / or the requirements for application submittal. It would be prudent to call and schedule an appointment to ensure staff will be in the office when you would like to come by.

There are two types of applications reviewed by the Planning Board: those that require publication of a legal notice and a Public Hearing, and those that do not.
Applications requiring a Public Hearing:
The deadline to submit a new application requiring a Public Hearing is one month prior to the next available Planning Board meeting date, subject to submission completeness and agenda capacity.Applications not requiring a Public Hearing:
The submission deadline for applications not requiring a Public Hearing is two weeks prior to the next available Planning Board meeting date, subject to submission completeness and agenda capacity.

Reach out to the Department or drop by the Office between Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Department charges a nominal fee for copying ($0.20 a page). A full size plan sheet is currently $5 per copy. If a request for documentation requires staff time to research and compile, the charge will be the hourly rate of the administrative staff based on the number of hours required.
