RE: TOWN OF BRAINTREE FY2020 PROPOSED ASSESSED VALUES
PUBLIC DISCLOSURE NOTICE TO BRAINTREE TAXPAYERS
The Town of Braintree Board of Assessors is in the process of completing the Five year revaluation as required by the Commissioner of Revenue under Chapter 40 Section 56 of the Massachusetts General Laws. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue has given preliminary certification for values of all property classes. These proposed values represent full and fair market value for FY2020. Upon final certification, the new values will affect the 3rd and 4th quarter bills for Fiscal Year 2020. The proposed values will be available for review by the public from October 3, 2019 through October 9, 2019 online on the assessors website https://braintreema.gov/DocumentCenter/View/4674 or at the Assessor’s Office, located at Braintree Town Hall, 1 JFK Memorial Drive, during regular business hours, (Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, as well as the Thayer Public Library, located at 798 Washington Street during their regular business hours.
