Applications for Summer 2022 Employment with the Braintree Recreation Department are now available and will be accepted through Friday, April 8th.
Applicants for camp counselor and playground positions should be at least 18 years old and have graduated high school. First preference will be given to returning applicants.
Applicants for lifeguards (must have certification) and gate attendants at Sunset Lake and the Petersen Splash pad must be at least 16 years old and have completed their sophomore year of high school. Applications are available from the Recreation office at 74 Pond Street or at online at

Please note, all applicants are required to fill out an application even if they have worked for Braintree Recreation in past summers.
