Mayor Kokoros is excited to announce the Town of Braintree will be hosting this year’s Massachusetts Little League State Championship Series. The state championship series will be held at Hollingsworth Park located at 348 Pond St. this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Due to the tournament, parking on Delta Rd., Lake St and Solar Ave will be limited to residents only. Residents should also expect increased traffic in the Pond St. and Granite St. area, please plan accordingly.
Additionally, on Saturday, July 30th the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Farmer’s Market features locally grown fruits, vegetables, gourmet baked goods, live music and much more. The Braintree Craft and Vendor Market will be held this Saturday, July 30th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm outdoors at 74 Pond St. The market will have a cannoli truck, kids’ area, music and more than 30 local vendors to shop from. The market will be making a donation to the Marge Crispin Center with a portion of the proceeds.
