[ARCHIVED] Beautification Day, Rabies Clinic, Blood Drive and Plant Sale!

Mayor Charles C. Kokoros is excited to announce tomorrow, Saturday May 8th the Town of Braintree will be holding our annual Beautification Day. Residents who would like to participate are asked to meet at Town Hall at 8:30 am tomorrow morning. We will provide all participants with a Beautification T-shirt, gloves and trash bags. We will provide the target areas for this year’s cleanup which include the Town Hall Memorial Mall, the beach and park at Sunset Lake, Penniman Park, Smith Beach and the Braintree High School access road. We will be having a cookout at noon at sunset lake to thank all of the volunteers for their hard work. 

Additionally, tomorrow at Town Hall, the Health Department will be hosting their annual rabies clinic. The rabies clinic is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Town Hall parking lot. The vaccination fee per animal is $15.00 and clients are asked to bring their animals current rabies certificate. 

The Braintree Gardeners' Guild will be hosting their plant sale from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Town Hall Memorial Mall. All residents are encouraged to stop by and check out all the great plants and products the Gardeners' Guild have to offer.

Also, there will be a blood drive in the memory of Lucas Flint from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
