Nelson Chin Day
In honor of the late Nelson Chin, the Town of Braintree will be holding Nelson Chin Day on Saturday, September 25th rain or shine from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This family fun day event will be held on French’s Common next to Town Hall. Residents of all ages are welcome to attend. The afternoon will include games, prizes, inflatable bounce houses and food and drinks will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact the Recreation Department at 781-794-8901.
Household Hazardous Waste Day
Additionally, on Saturday September 25th the Town will be holding a Household Hazardous Waste Day event. The event is being held at 74 Pond St. from 9:00 am to noon. For a complete list of accepted hazardous materials please visit braintreema.gov.
Sprint for Super Saturdays
On Sunday, September 26th Super Saturdays will be holding their 9th annual Sprint for Super Saturdays road race. The race will start and finish at Town Hall. Walk up registration begins at 8:00 am and the race starts at 9:30 am.
