On Thursday March 10th the Town will be hosting a league sign-up night for various sports at Braintree Town Hall from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Cahill Auditorium. Representatives from the following leagues will be at Town Hall:
- Braintree American Little League
- East Braintree Little League
- South Braintree Girls Softball League
- Babe Ruth Baseball
Representatives from the leagues will be able to help get you registered for the upcoming season or answer any questions you may have. The Town of Braintree will be hosting a medical supply drive on Friday, March 11th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm outside of Braintree Town Hall to help support the humanitarian efforts in the Ukraine. All supplies will be delivered to the Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church and Ukraine Forward.
The town will be collecting the following items: • Tourniquets
• Bleed stop
• Rapid Gauze (Celox, Quikclot)
• Occlusive Chest Seal
• Clotting Gauze
• First Care Bandage
• First aid kit
• Nitrile Medical gloves
• CPR Face Shield
• Decompression Kit
• Medical Scissors
• Intubation tubes
• Intravenous catheters (G18)
• Intraosseous catheters
• ibuprofen, acetaminophen
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Vitamin C and D
Also walkie talkies and batteries will be accepted.
