In anticipation of the hot weather tomorrow, May 22nd, the Braintree Department of Elder Affairs building located at 71 Cleveland Ave will be used as a cooling center. Temperatures are expected to reach into the 90s and I would invite any resident in need to utilize the Department of Elder Affairs building as a shelter from the heat and humidity.
The Elder Affairs building will be open as cooling center from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
