[ARCHIVED] Mayor Charles C. Kokoros Announces Braintree’s September 11th Remembrance

Mayor Charles C. Kokoros is pleased to announce the Town of Braintree will hold its annual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 8:30 am at the Braintree Fire Department Headquarters (1 Union Place).  

“It has been 21 years since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and it is important as a community we continue to pay tribute to our first responders past and present and honor the lives that were lost on that fateful day,” said Mayor Kokoros. 

The remembrance ceremony will include remarks from Mayor Charles C. Kokoros and public safety personnel.  Additionally, there will be musical selections by the Braintree High School concert choir. All residents are welcome to attend, and a light breakfast will be served at the conclusion of the ceremony.
