On Saturday, October 8th the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Farmer’s Market features locally grown fruits, vegetables, gourmet baked goods, live music and much more. Additionally, the Braintree Artisan, Craft and Vendor Market will be open this Saturday, October 8th from 11 am to 3 pm outdoors at 74 Pond St. The market will have artisans, crafters and vendors including a food truck and kids game area.
On Monday, October 10th there will be no trash and recycling curbside collection. Trash and recycling curbside collection will be delayed by one day.
The Braintree Rotary Club will be holding a Peace Pole Ceremony on Tuesday, October 11th at 2:30 pm outside of Braintree Town Hall. Recently, the Braintree Rotary Club installed a peace pole outside of Town Hall. Peace Poles are the most recognized monument dedicated to peace on earth. All residents are invited to attend.
