On Monday, June 19th- In recognition of the Juneteenth holiday, all non-emergency Town buildings will be closed. Trash and recycling curbside pick-up will be delayed by one day. Additionally, the Trash & Recycling Drop Off Center will be closed.
On Saturday June 17th The Braintree Farmer’s Market will reopen for the season from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Braintree Town Hall.
The Norfolk County Sheriff, Patrick McDermott will be hosting the first “Sheriff’s Summer Safety Fest” of the year on Saturday June 17th.
The event will take place at 2015 Washington Street from 11am-2pm. The event will include a variety of activities, games, inflatable obstacle courses, safety demonstrations and free food!
In addition, there will be a Pride Flag raising ceremony, this Saturday at 1:15pm outside of Town Hall.
Braintree Town Clerk, Jim Casey, is reminding all dogs owners that the annual dog registration period ends on June 30th.
Any dogs not licensed after this date are subject to a late licensing fee of up to twenty-five dollars.
You may register your dog by visiting the Town Clerk’s Office or register your dog online at the Town of Braintree website under the services link.
If you no longer have a dog, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 781-794-8240 so they can update their records.
