This weekend the St. Catherine Church will be having YiaYia's Attic and selling Greek food and pastries. They will be open Friday, September 8 from 10 am to 7 pm., Saturday, Sept. 9 from 9 am to 7 pm and Sunday, Sept. 10 from 11 am to 3 pm.
This Saturday, September 9th the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
This Saturday, September 9th, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 p.m., the Braintree Community Youth Center located at 74 Pond Street, will continue to celebrate its "Sweet 16" anniversary year, and is inviting current and prospective members of middle school and high school-aged students to attend the annual Welcome Back Cookout on the grounds of the youth center. There is no charge for the event, and families are welcome. Tours of the center, membership applications, and volunteer sign-up sheets will be available. Come with your friends or come to make new friends.
On Sunday, September 10th the Chinese American Association of Braintree will be hosting Braintree’s First Annual Mid-Autumn Festival from 3 pm to 7 pm on French’s Common next to Town Hall. The event will feature a variety of cultural activities and performances, including traditional lion and dragon dances, lantern-making workshops and many more! We have also invited local businesses and food vendors to join us. Admission is free.
