Section 8-5. Periodic review of Charter and ordinances
Every 5 years, the Town Charter is reviewed by an appointed committee. This committee consists of 9 members, 4 appointed by the town council president and 5 appointed by the mayor. At least 2 of the persons appointed by the town council president are members of the town council and the remaining members are voters of the town. The committee is expected to deliver its recommendations in May/June 2020.
The committee is very interested to hear the input of the public on anything related to the contents of the charter. Please provide your thoughts using the form below.
