SANITARY SEWER OVERFLOW NOTIFICATION
This notification describes the continuing sanitary sewer overflow that is occurring in the Town of
Braintree. If this overflow continues an additional eight (8) hours another notification will be provided,
otherwise, a cessation notification will be issued. See below for more information regarding the overflow.
Partially Treated or Untreated Sewer Discharge
Location of Discharge: 44 Allen St. C1-4- Manhole overflow
Start Time and Date of Discharge: 11:00 AM / 7-10-2025
End Time and Date of Discharge:
Duration of Discharge:
Estimated Volume of Discharge: 100 GPM
Has Overflow Ceased: NO
Names of Bodies of Water Affected by Discharge: Monatiquot River

Avoid contact with these waterbodies for 48 hours after the discharge or overflow ceases due to increased health risks from bacteria and other pollutants. The discharge or overflow consists, or likely consists, of untreated or partially treated sewage and waste.
