Start Time and Date of Discharge: 1/26/2023 3:00 AM
End Time and Date of Discharge: 1/27/2023 3:00 PM
Duration of discharge: 36 hours
Estimated volume of discharge: 2,163,000 gallons
Has Overflow Ceased: Yes
Names of Bodies of Water Affected by Discharge: Monatiquot River
Names of Municipalities Affected by Discharge: Braintree, Weymouth
Name of Reporting Personnel: Lou Dutton
Avoid contact with these waterbodies for 48 hours after the discharge or overflow ceases due to increased health risks from bacteria and other pollutants. The discharge or overflow consists, or likely consists, of untreated or partially treated sewage and waste. See website (https://braintreema.gov/852/Municipal-Separate-Storm-Sewer-System-MS) for more information on whether specific resource areas such as bathing beaches are affected.
Drinking water is not affected by this discharge.
