[ARCHIVED] Braintree Recreation Accepting Summer Employment Applications

Summer Recreation Staff Portraits

The Braintree Recreation Department is currently accepting summer employment applications at its 85 Quincy Avenue offices through April 27, 2018. Jobs such as Organized Play instructors for the General Sports Clinic, Field Trip Clinic, Kiddo’s Clinic, and Playgrounds; Special Needs Day Activity Program counselors; Waterfront staffing especially certified lifeguards as well as caretaker and gate attendants; and splash pad attendants at Watson Park will be available, even though veteran employees with the Department will be given first chance to return to their positions. Applications are now available at the Recreation Office and online

Those Braintree residents seeking employment must currently be either of college age or graduating from high school this year to be eligible for an interview that will be conducted by summer program supervisory staff in early May at the Recreation Office. Employment decisions will be made by the end of May. These positions are for summer seasonal employment only. In the event that any vacancies exist thereafter, high school underclassmen would then be considered for employment. For further information, please contact the Recreation Office at 781-794-8901. All applications must be submitted by April 27, 2018 to be considered for employment.
